    Firefox, security updates and bing

    I enjoy using Firefox as a browser. But I'm finding it increasingly annoying having to delete bing as the built-in primary search engine after each security update.

    Why is Mozilla foisting bing upon its users?

      i never had bing come up? mine always defaults to google search as it should.

          I'm on a Mac. It's happened now after the past two updates (including today's).

          It's most noticeable when the user types a search in the URL location.

              If you google "removing Bing from Firefox" you'll find instructions on how to restore it to Google.
