    Which Video Chat program?

At work we have field techs, and sometimes it may be nice to have a video conference between them on the roof, and in the office. Is there an advantage to Skype, oovoo, facetime, etc? Ipads, Driods etc?

Does one over the other make a difference of wifi/3g/4g/email/phone ??

I think Skype would be the most widely used. Free video chat, voice chat and messaging from skype to skype. They seem to have it on almost all the mobile devices too.
With some cell phones I have seen that you HAVE to use the cell data. You cannot use it on wifi only. I think my Android phone was this way. I don't know if its still like that.

Skype is the most widely used and supported on several platforms. I suppose the only reason to not use Skype would be if the mobile device didn't support it.

Skype it up, free and multi platform support. Slow over wireless at times and air cards, but still usable.

I have limited experience with Skype and iChat talking to my daughter in Hawaii. Both are easy to use. Video is about the same on either one. Audio is better with Skype. She has a four year old Macbook and I'm using a two year old Macbook Pro.

Haven't tried it with my Blackberry.

i've not re-installed skype. but i tested/configured my logitech hd videocam wtih yahoo messenger and msn messenger. granted, my yahoo IM is version 10 (because i like having my arhicves locally, not like v11 that i downgraded from). performance sucks.

but msn messenger works very well. pretty much guess, same code or simliar as office communicator since we'll be using videocam for staff meetings now.
