Im waiting for a PC game that lives up to the Tribes games. I just dont understand how no one can make a game that even stands up to there HUGE maps and massive battles that I miss so much. This looks like a step in the rite direction, I liked the first 2 but they did get boring really fast always find myself playing COD again and again. Not that Im not bored of that but at least Hardcore CTF is still fun.

Also, you're thinking of an MMO. Battlefield is a FPS. They tried to make a huge 128 player FPS for the PS3 called MAG, that failed horribly.

No tax on Origin and you get access to the Beta and the weapons pack at no additional cost. I pre-ordered, now I get to see if my computer will let me play it when the Beta is out.

OK don't skin me on this but I do prefer Xbox 360 for online play.

@ 2.64GHz 4GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Vid card.

I cannot upgrade at this time and wonder IF I choose PC version, could I even play it at a good quality? Xbox is more comfortable for me and I have not played a PC multi player since Americas Army debuted.

No, Tribes was what i think the first team based online FPS outside of games like Quake/Unreal Tournament. Tribes 2 was kinda blah, but hopefully the new Tribes remake will do the series proud.

you might be able to run on low settings, but nobody really knows until they release the minimum requirements. your cpu should be fine, but Im guessing you might have to upgrade video cards.

These are the guessed specs, if you can run BFBC:2 you can run BF:3, Frostbite 2.0 is supposed to be better optimized than the 1.5 used for BC:2, so with the new features it might be a wash.

ha, i didn't use a Amazon CC, amazon gives out $10-$20 gift cards if you pre-order certain games for use on next game purchase. I had bought iirc Starcraft 2 and it gave me a $20 gift card, and i also used some change i had through coin-star to get another ~$10(they dont charge fees if you get gift card in coinstar)
