    Another Fallout Vegas bug

I cant find a solution anywhere online but other people have had the same or similar problems. For XBOX
When I approach the NCR or crimson caravan, I get attacked out right. Its happened when I finished the Honest Hearts downloadable quest. Here are the answers to the questions asked to the people who report the bug and this is my answers too, just giving you a heads up.
    1)good standing with the NCR
    2)NOT using other faction armor
3)when using NCR armor, still getting attacked
4)have not killed an NCR soldier or citizen
5)Exrtemely good karma (I'm a messiah right now)
6)Do NOT have any weapon out
7)happens after I re-load the game over and over again
    8)have newest patch
9)bug has been reported as early as october.

Any help would be appreciated, I am two seconds away from just siding with ceasar. I'm villified by ceasar but still they wont attack me out right.

Have you tried deleting your patches to see if that helps?

Yes, you have to clear your cache.

When you turn the game on again, play OFFLINE. Sign out of Xbox Live or else it will make you update the game again. If you try it without the patches and the glitch is gone, then you know it has something to do with the updates.

If the glitch is still there, then...well....maybe you accidentally pissed off the NCR?

Just a side note: Clearing your cache SHOULDN'T mess up your save game, but make a backup, just in case. Last time I did it, it worked fine for me (I exploit glitches to get infinite caps. Don't judge me.)

PSS: CLEARING YOUR CACHE DELETES YOUR UPDATES FOR ALL OF YOUR GAMES, NOT JUST NEW VEGAS

        Keep this in mind, too.

Apparently you can delete the cache JUST for New Vegas if you do this.

Then again, all my weapons, ammo and armor I've gotten from those extra missions will be deleted.
So many others have reported this problem. I swear the fallout games are so effing buggy. When fallout four comes out, I'm so not going to buy it

When I cleared my cache last time, it didn't delete any of my weapons, ammo, armors, etc. Only the updates and bugfixes, so I could exploit glitches that they'd patched.

I cleared my cache and reinstalled patches with no loss of data, but I feel the need to say that YMMV.

FallOut New Vegas is exceedingly buggy...but all in all, a very good game.

You can't use console commands in XBOX, can you?

I heard it's supposed to use the Skyrim engine. Can't wait for Fallout 4.

Did you do a QA bug report to bethesda/Obsidian? They might be able to help you out.

Assuming the script patcher is busted and/or someone f-ed up one of the variable checks, there isn't much you can do other than the revert.

I'm pretty sure you can edit the save game files directly if you want to mess around with them.
