No it's not, they do not cover accidental damage (yes, I know sometimes you can get them to do a one-time "courtesy" repair for accidental damage, this is no guarantee though), it's not good world wide and there's no onsite service. It's little more than a time extension on the standard warranty. They don't even offer a data recovery plan. Their in-store customer service may be good (they do have their fair share of service horror stories), but that's all part of the in-store experience. I would hardly call it the "best warranty in the computer world" though. You can get a better service plan from Fry's or even Best Buy if you buy it there. Check with your credit card company too, often times they include free warranty/insurance on electronics purchased with your card.

Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison
The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms. -- Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87 (Pearce and Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)
