What do you guys think of this receiver?

I realize it's not a fire-breather, but it seems like it satisfies my few requirements:

1. easy to use
2. compact
3. presumably high quality if it comes from Yamaha.

It's also come way down in price lately.

My only concern is that it's not a really new product, and may become obsolescent soon.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, it's not well reviewed in a lot of places. I wonder, though, if the people writing the poor reviews are perhaps expecting too much from it.

As I mentioned above, I'm not looking for incredible power or specs or features. I want something small and easy to use, that won't become obsolete overnight. Now, this product might be a little dated, but I'm wondering whether there's anything like it but newer out there.

My biggest concerns are there are quite a few reviews talking about it "locking up"
If you pick one up let me know how you like it.
