Need help with internet explorer

okies. So I really need to get paid. Unfortunately the site that I have to go through to get my monies not only opens but also closes previous windows/tabs automatically. Since some stupid pack my computer ran and updated, it wont let the website do that and a yellow warning banner appears at the bottom. Can anyone help me out? And please refrain from "oh use chrome or firefox LOL" That really doesnt help me out much as they dont work well with military sites.

Can't you make an exception for that website allowing popups? Sorry, been years since I've used explorer.

Not really sure what you are asking.
What version of IE?
What does the error message say?
Is the site HTTPS?

Just guessing, you may need to "Trust" the site.
Internet Options --> Security

go to that same security tab shown above, and make sure you hit the "reset all zones to default level" then restart IE.

if you downloaded the IE9 update, that might be messing it up as well, and should be removed.

That didnt help. I'm going to download IE8. It updated during the service pack that was automatically downloaded so now I'm going to uninstall this biotch
