so, lately I've been having trouble viewing PDF's that i know many other people are not having any trouble reading. any ideas?

What are you using to open them? Is something else - the wrong app - trying to open them?

What system?

A legit copy of Acrobat Pro or a free copy of the watered down "reader" version? Do you have something like Photoshop and can you open them that way?

I can view the PDF with without an issue. Re-download the PDF to your hard drive, then open it from there.

how do i download the PDF? when i click the link it opens another page on my browser and then gives me the error notice.

You right click on the link to the pdf then select "Save As" or "Save Target As" and select a location your drive to save it to. Then open the file you downloaded on the hard drive. Also, you didn't say what version of Adobe reader you were using. Make sure it is the latest version. Also, are you using Internet Explorer or Firefox?

It doesn't work either way. I'm using firefox but i already tried it with IE. I'm using acrobat reader 5.1

You will have to update to the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

yup, that did it! Thanks a ton for your help. What a silly and simple fix. i tried to do that when i was having trouble with the DFG PDF but i had trouble navigating the site and finding the DL because i guess I'm retarded.
