    Firefox 5

Just upgraded to 5 and so far I am quite happy, stable, and some new toys to play with like App Tabs. Now I can keep a permanant tab of my most used sites... like CGN

They are planning on getting to FF7 by end of year.

          It runs better than FF4.

FF5 runs better than my IE8 (IE9 sucks IMO).

4 and 5 are both nice, too bad they both raise my GPU''s temp by 6 degrees. Just opening the browser to google and letting it idle will still raise the temp by 6 degrees over the 3.6 version. =/

it is a custom built pc but nothing is overclocked. firefox just makes your GPU work harder thus making the temp. go up by a few degrees. (6 in my case)

I have a Phenom II 965 and a GTX470. both have aftermarket coolers. Neither my CPU or GPU are overclocked though.

you can google this issue, I'm not the only one seeing temps. going up with firefox 4/5. as a matter of fact, download speedfan and test it yourself...first see what your GPU's idle temps will be with firefox 3.6 open...then see what your GPU's idle temps will get to with firefox 4 or 5 open.
