I'm thinking of getting something pocket camcorder to use at matches. Something like the Kodak Playsport. Anyone here use the Kodak or something similar?

I use to have a FLIP HD. Bulkier than the Playsport but it worked fine before I sold it to my Bro-In-Law. You should check out Youtube and see how you like the video quality. I hear Kodak Zi8's are nice as well. -
Why not a smartphone, that way you always have it with you and don't have to carry multiple devices.Comment

The video quality on the iPhone 4 is excellent ... no zoom though, and you'll want that eventually. The PlaySport is quite good as well, with the additional feature of being somewhat rugged. Alas I hate the digital zoom.
The Sanyo Xacti series is pretty decent ... I am happy so far with the 2 I have.|
