The sounds in battlefield bad company 2 i thought were some of the bests out of all the other shooters ive recently played (COD, MOH) but thats just my opinion.

I didn't mind the graphics or sound of "Black Ops" but when I switched to Bad Company 2 it was day n' night with both. Very ****ing awesome!

Yup the sounds of the guns in Black Ops are used on several different weapons. And the sounds in Battlefield are damn, well just amazing! I mean they nailed it from the indoor shooting, to the gun shots heard from far away, to the yelling indoor/outdoor, EVERYTHING they hit right on the spot!

Build one. I know a lot of people, myself included, that have either upgraded their current gaming computers, or are building totally new ones specifically for this, and future games. BF3 just seems like it's on a whole new level. I thought BC2 was as good as it gets, but after seeing the graphics in BF3, I'm appalled, It looks more real and more crisp than actual real life does...

Though, to get it to the kind of quality you saw in the tank demo, you'd probably need a top of the line i7 overclocked to a billion GHz, with octo-SLI GTX580's, and 999999999GB of RAM.

I would need more money for that, especially because I would need a computer capable of also doing more than games, something that makes games look easy. I do a ton of 3d graphics and I have yet to find a computer I can bring to its knees. Renders that take weeks at 100% on all cpus on a 12 core system for one frame.

I always like having hard copies of my games.

The great thing about direct download is you never have to worry about which disc you have in to play, scratching the disc, loosing the key code, loosing the disk and just having an abundance of discs laying around. 90% of my games are on steam and you can uninstall or re-downlaod as many times as you want and they keep the key code for you.

I'm much better at keeping my discs and not damaging them than I am at remembering the billions of logins and passwords I have for various websites. I've already lost complete access to my Steam account that was filled with a bunch of games because I can't remember my login or my password, and the recovery help was no help at all.

I cannot wait for this game. 2 of my roommates and I were watching TV when the ~90 sec trailer came on and our jaws collectively hit the floor. Usually at least one of us will not shut up during commercial breaks but not a word was spoken until after the trailer was over.

I was going to save up for an AR before I saw this game but those funds may be diverted to a new computer instead.
