Who else is going to get this game? I'm really glad that IW is still developing it, even though we've heard that a lot of their talent has departed. I gave Treyarch a chance with Black Ops, but that was terrible.

Anyone else get the poster by preordering? I thought it was pretty lol that they had a Magpul AFG on the gun. The rendered rifle model has much to be desired though... 3x optic on an EOTech? I would be pissed if they forced me to use that on a mission.

because it doesnt bring anything new to the table other than a couple of new guns and maps. Battlefield 3 on the other hand.... now thats gonna be a good game.

after black ops im very meh about a new COd game..hope they have an option for move the 3x to the side. that would make the game play much better. and add a damn selector switch!

I think its a prety good looking rifle for a video game. Seems like Magpul stuff is getting a lot of play these days as its on a few of the rifles in SOCOM 4 as well.

Ugh I've been finished with the COD franchise since MW2. Black Ops was just confirmation that they were trying to milk the cash cow. Kotick is a douche, and I'll never support another one of IW/Activision's games until he leaves. They're game are literally rehashes of rehashes. Every follow COD they release is a simple reskin of a previous game. They just rename the guns, and change a few sounds. Hell for MW2 they didn't even bother to change some of the sounds from COD4:MW.

Waiting for Battlefield 3, and then finally Diablo III.

Very dissapointed in last 4 games I have paid for. BF2142 thru BO. I started with UO really in multiplayer and find all the new games to be small map zerg fests. Don't think I' am gonna bother spending another 60 bucks I guess I'll just run more Iracing races /shrug.

Most people don't realize that Activision is just creating rehashes of rehashes. As far as the modern 12 year old or typical frat boy is concerned, the COD franchise is just another awesome shooting game where they get to kill people. The majority of the people still buying the COD games are either fan boys of the franchise, or unsuspecting consumers that don't know any better and don't care to get into the politics of video games.

I buy them for the weapons. That way i get to shoot wonderful things like G11s, 23mm Russian shotguns, etc, and the like that i'll never be able to handle in real life. So, to that end, I actually liked BOps, because it contained more one-off/prototype/(anachronistic haha)/whatever firearms i'll never see.

same here, but i also buy it for the gameplay. And honestly, COD does not have good gameplay. Sure its fun.....for about 10 minutes, then it gets boring because its the same **** over and over. Run, gun someone from behind, get knifed, spawn, run, get sniped from a 360 sniper jumper, spawn, get gunned down by behind, spawn, kill someone from behind, game ends. Wow same **** over and over. Honestly, i havent even played COD since i got battlefield which was around a year ago. Battlefield never gets old because its a different atmosphere everytime.
