anyone else having the crappy adobe plugin fail?

    Windows 7 SP1 64bit
    Firefox 4.0.1 32bit

Ever since I updated adobe flash player, if I try to play anything in full screen mode the plugin will crash. Its really frackin annoying. I tried reinstall, install previous versions everything, And nothing fixes it!

I know Adobe has gone the way of Apple, Blizzard, and Valve with half-assed made updates that do more damage than anything but now I can barely get websites that rely on flash heavily to load correctly.

Any suggestions? Other than downloading IE9. I would rather hang myself with nylon stockings attached to a ceiling fan that use that pile of misery.

Yup Flash crashes regularly forcing you to restart Firefox. Worse the Firefox 4 Flash client is dog slow. I find myself using Chrome to view videos.

Try Loading a flash video, right click on the screen, and go to settings, display, and then unclick hardware acceleration. Flash bugs out fullscreen with some video card/driver combos for some reason, and it turns on by default whenever you update it.

I have had to do this many times for the female members of my family who do that silly farmville thing.

Thanks guys. I had to reboot my computer to a previous restore point to get that useless update off.

I've never had an issue with a flash update.

I've been having issues with reader. When I click a link to open a .pdf in a new tab I can't scroll on any other tab and sometimes I can't type anything into another tab.

I agree, it's suddenly gotten very bad with Firefox 4.01.

its funny how its mozilla saying flash plugin crashed, and when using Chrome it told me silverlight crashed.

both work fine now, except Chrome is even slower than before.
