Yea i know its not GTA or RDR but i dont see whats the point of not putting it in. I mean in real life if a cop wanted to go out and massacre people he would be able and not be re spawned to his last save point. Its a time killer and its something to do to make up those 60 dollars you drop on this. Im not saying its a bad game, from the trailers it looks REALLY good. But not for 60 dollars with no online, no coop, no massacre either. I made the mistake of doing that with mafia and am not making it again. Mafia had a good story but after i beat it i returned it because there is nothing else to do.

Ill get this game when it drops down to the lowest price, otherwise im saving my money for Bad company 3.

There is a "free roam" mode for the game.
But, you have to "unlock" it and set it in the main menu.

The first time you get free roam is when you finish the traffic division. Then you can go to the cases option on the main menu and choose "streets of L.A."

that is free roam where you can drive around, crash, hit pedestrians, find cars and badges, etc all without harming your campaign or case ratings.

I have completed the story yet, however, I believe you can replay the story cases in the main menu.

There are also 40 street crimes that you can intervene in when dispatch calls for help. Pretty neat.

I won't fork over $60 for almost any game. Even battlefields which I am a die hard fan of. I will wait a few months instead till the price comes down to maybe $40.

Alright, I have been playing for about 4 plus hours for the past two days and total game progress is 20.4%.

Keep this in mind, this game is a Team Bondi game, not Rockstar. Still great nonetheless.

The ideas behind this game were great and I can understand the revolutionary aspects of the development of this game. But I got bored pretty quick with this game. Then again, heavy rain put me to sleep too.

I wish there was a bit more action...the game is very predictable...every time you come across a suspect, you already know you're about to give chase. The side missions are more fun, but they end quickly.
