I switch to internet explorer and everything id GTG.
    Makes me wonder

Firefox 4.0 is garbage. I've had nothing but trouble with it since "upgrading" from 3.6. It leaks memory like none other, even after the 4.0.1 patch.

Firefox 4.0 is what finally pushed me to give Chrome a try over the weekend. I haven't had a problem with Chrome.

OP, I do recommend giving Firefox a try, but go with Firefox 3.6 for now.

No problems with Chrome nor Firefox. I enjoy using different browsers for different tasks.

          Each has pros and cons.

Try a reinstall. And dear Lord don't use IE, you'll get more viruses and a Taiwanese hooker.

Dump Chrome and use Iron. Uses the chromium source code without all the google tracking BS. I've been using it for a while now and like it very much.

Yeah, FF seems like it's going downhill. Same as NERO Burning ROM the CD/DVD writing software. I remember years ago it was fast and light weight. Now the thing comes with a DVD disc to install!

I started using the Chromium browser. It's an open source project and haven't had any issues with it at all.

Chrome (Google) is about to launch a BIG ad campaign against the other browsers.

It's gonna be a side by side comparison on how Chrome is better versus the other browsers.

Pooh. Firefox is my favorite. Chrome in my house was the fastest trip in North America.

                              Viruses AND a Taiwanese hooker?

Because if she's hot enough, that might be not a bad tradeoff, so long as the viruses are just on the computer.

(Also, I've had exactly one browser crash since installing Chrome, on the day it was released. Even that wasn't really Chrome's fault ... it was a problem with recovering from hibernation, and a whole bunch of things became non-responsive.)
