iPhone help?

OK so I am trying to figure out if I can create new photo albums to upload a few different picture albums that i have on my computer but every time I try it simply deletes the photos on the phone I have already uploaded and replaces them with the ones I want to add. Can anyone help me with this or is there a app that helps do what i want?

connect your iphone and when itunes comes up...click the tab that says photos. It'll have a section on where to get photos from.

What I do, is make one main folder like on the desktop and title it "iphone photos" so it knows to take from there...Then inside the folder you have "sub folders" which give you different folders like "Mikes birthday" or "Beach trip 2010" etc etc...in your camera roll section.

Yep that helped a bit although it seems doing this not only loads each individual album it also puts all the albums into the one Photo gallery so I technically have double of everything.


Now you want to talk about problem holly crap I added some music from my son's computer (he has iTunes) and when i now plug my phone in it wants to delete all that music in order to Synch. I had to buy a program that allowed me to transfer all the music to the Library. Another issue I hate is my daughter uses my computer for her iPod so I have to share a library with her and check or uncheck all music I want to go on it.

Now I know why people hate Apple so much they do not let things be easy. I ended up have to buy a program that would allow me to transfer all the music to the library. I wish there was a way to have two separate Libraries.

On a good note however I got my Magpul phone case and it is very nice and everyone that has seen it so far now wants one.

The reason for the music wanting to delete and sync isn't Apple's fault. The DRM laws from the music industry are what prevents you from doing that without a 3rd party hack. Thank all the lawyers and bureaucrats for that.

Well that certainly doesn't surprise me.

However if that is the case then why can i buy the software that then allows me to do it?

Just make it so your iphone is an external drive by clicking "manually manage music" and Uncheck "automatically start sync when connected". Then you can collect all the songs you want from anyone.... THEN use that software you got to transfer everything to YOUR computer if you want to...(to create a solid backup)
It's not all that hard as long as you know what you gotta do. I've been working with apple products most my life and i'm fluent in windows as well, I just prefer mac.

And apple doesnt DRM their music anymore..or atleast i believe they stopped a while back...i could be wrong, i dont purchase music online.

This is true. When they introduced the multi-tiered charging system, they got rid of it. I paid like $60 to upgrade the music I had with DRM on it to be DRM free.
