iPhone 3GS Question about apps.

OK my Razr finally crapped out on me so I decided to step into the 21st century and had to get a new phone so, I went with the iphone 3gs.

Looking for useful apps such as fishing and tides reports and anything else you folks may find useful. I already got a few such as weather, AAA, Soundhound that allows the phone to recognize any song and give you artist and name of song and album.

Not into using it for games and all that other crap. I have a regular life and do not want to bury my nose in a phone like most people seem to do today.

Just looking for some useful apps.

My two favorites for fishing off the top of my head are TideGraph, and BuoyData. I think both are pay. That is a minimum, have fun. I have around 100 apps on mine.

that is because your 3GS doesn't have a camera flash. It can only turn on the display screen for ilumination. Other phones, like the iphone 4 have an LED flash unit that can be turned on for a decent flashlight (and are pretty good).


But, in the end, if you really need it (like my boss did when they got to ride out the Chile earthquake a while back and the power was out everywhere) it is better than nothing.

I think the main screen though was brighter than all the ones I tried. But yeah I see that the iPhone4 has that neat little LED.
