    Time to move on....network administrator/engineer

I've been working as a network administrator 13 years. I've been working in both private and public sector on large enterprise level infrastructure. I've been thinking of moving on due the lack of opportunity in the public sector.

My question is, what is the job market like out in orange county?

I've never been the person to not look for an opportunity, but the public sector is making me complacent and I am to get starting to institutionalize, thus lose value.

I am in a similar situation here in San Diego. Grown tired of computing, MS, security, etc etc. Here in San Diego, water districts, power companies, defense industry are all hiring.

I would love to be able to work at my local zoo. Seems like it would be a very satisfying place to work.

    Good luck!
