    verizon 4g net down?

Anyone else having issues with Verizon 4G right now in Los Angeles now?

I usually get 4G in my house but since last night both my wife any my phone are only getting 1x data speeds at home.

Have the phone running off WiFi but that usually kills my battery and is slower than the 4G signal. Will see if the signal gets better when I leave for work.

Yes, VZW 4G LTE is down nationwide. If you have the thunderbolt the device will not automatically switch to 3G.

If you want 3G follow this link and instructions. Should be back up soon.

Verizon's brand new 4G LTE network is and has been down across the nation for a number of hours now starting at some point late last night. Yep, anyone with a Thunderbolt will be running on 1x until they fire this thing back up, even if you are in a non-LTE city. And toggling your LTE on/off...

sucks because the droid charge was supposed to be out but they delayed it to reduce customer disappointment.
