What does golf have to do with computers? Seriously though, I really wish people would stop butchering the English language. It does not make you look or sound cool.

What RAM were you using? I'll bet that was the issue. ASUS makes rock solid motherboards, they are the industry standard for a reason.

It's American English called slang, which defines our language from the Queens English, and many of which get added to the dictionary. Most terms for "puter" components are derived from that type of English, take RAM for example.
If you happen to drop your hobby of grammar/spelling monitor, and take up golf, please leave your puter at home, and take your putter to the putting green. That way you can maintain your superior coolness.

Trap: If your going to build your own. Check this board out. What I'm going to be getting when funds are there http://www.evga.com/products/moreInf...%20Family&sw=5
Ironcross, I was warned when I bought both of these motherboards, that they were indeed picky when it comes to RAM. Not only the type, but by the manufacture too.
I've had good luck with the 4 OCZ sticks I"m using. That's another thing that's important with these, all the sticks have to match, or you'll get the no-boot headache.
That board in the link you posted, WTH is that rectangle mass in the center of the board? Is that the chipset?

Appears to be an active cooling system for the PFC.
