Seriously, when the Ipad came out, I already knew it wasn't for me. But the first day it was available a guy at work came in with one, and after playing with it for 3 minutes, I went to apple's site and bought one for my mother. Now, it's all she uses.

And Apple stole the original Mac from Xerox. But you can hardly call it theft when they have licensing agreements in place. I would also like to know exactly what MS has stolen from Apple, I hear this claim all the time but it holds little to no water. Apple on the other hand has a long track record of taking something that somebody else developed, modifying it, slapping an Apple logo on, and reselling (iPod, Macintosh, iPad). They then try to act like they are innovating when in reality they're just releasing a copy of a product that has been around for years.

This is the P88, it was on the market many months before the iPad was even announced.



The IXI was the worlds first digital media player, developed in 1979.



This is the original iPod.



And here is Xerox PARC labs Star GUI, doesn't even look like Apple tried to change it.



There is a reason Apple flies the Jolly Roger, as you can see in this picture of the Macintosh team from Fortune Magazine.

And my mom has the opposite opinion of netbook. She aboslutely loves it and would not know what to do without it. So, for all of the naysayers, they have caught on for a reason.

I also have a netbook... The beauty is its small and the battery lasts forever, and it does everything I would want to do for a mobile computer.

If it died today, I would be at Best Buy purchasing another...
