    I really like mine.

    verizon?
the htc-ThunderBolt was just released (4G network speed))~$250
I got my Incredible for $50+tax, well worth it.

The other phones to look at (last years models...lol) vs the Incredible:
    motorola-DroidX (bigger screen)
    motorola-Droid2 (real keyboard)
I chose the Incredible, after trying them out in the store

It's an Android phone/OS, so all app in the Android market is available, and there is alot now

I've got one. Great phone, but look into the Thunderbolt.

Got one and love it. I like the smaller size, not a fan of having a laptop on my pocket. I personally have mine rooted and love running AdBlock and WiFi tendering on it.

My only complaint is the not so great battery life.

I have the Droid X and yes it's big, good for old eyes, and I love it. Smart phones take some getting used to. You need to learn them. My advice is to not be afraid to try things out, push buttons.

Since its your first I would go with the Droid X very easy to get use to after a week or so.

The Thunderbolt is what I have and for the average consumer there is no reason to need all of the power that the Thunderbolt can give.

The Incredible is a great phone but has the same os as the Thunderbolt I found Motorola Droid X to be easier to use.

I went from the orignal Droid to the Thunderbolt with the Droid X for the wife and daughter. Everyone is very happy!

Incredible is a damn good mini computer. Personally, I would wait until 4g is out more, and their are more options. I dont like how motoroals operate, I like how seemless htc ui is (htc sense). I got my incredible on the day they came out last year, and its still a good performing phone. Get into it with a one year contract, and by then, their should be 4g phones out there from htc, and you can have a better choice.

I love mine. Big issue for most people is the touch screen keyboard vs. the slide out keyboard, since I was already used to my old phones virtual keyboard it was no biggy, in fact I like it better. Droid 2s are thicker because of the slide out keyboard which I also didn't like. I don't think the OS is too much to handle, but then again I never had the Droid X to compare it to. My Incredible was pretty easy to figure out and get used to. Speed is great, doesn't freeze up and doesn't lose calls, which is what all 3 of my Moto phones did. I frequently run Slacker, internet (Calguns addict ) and text/email at the same time and never have an issue. Great phone.

I have an incredible. Great phone. I upgraded to the extended battery and now I can go two days without charging. The extended battery actually gives it a little better feel IMO. Easier to hold, protects the camera better. I was planning on getting the thunderbolt, but with the technical delays and such I thought it would be wise to hold off. The incredible will do just about everything the Thunderbolt will, except the 4g.

Also the Incredible just hit end of life, as in taken off the Verizon website.
