Internet explorer 9 lost all my favorites!

Just downloaded Internet Explorer 9 and lost all my hundreds of saved favorite web sites that I had on Int Exp. 7. Is there any way to retrieve them?

chances are its just using a new location. go look at the actual favorites folder in your profile

xp = c:\documents and settings\user name\favorites
vista/7 = c:\users\user name\favorites

if that dosnt work, try googling it. someone else has likely run into this issue as well.

but, fyi, FireFox with IETab is a much better solution. IE is... well its icky.

Ok figured it out.
You have to now hit the alt key to bring up a menu that shows a favorites menu. I wish they would have just left the yellow star for us idiots!

No... the yellow star you're referring to is over on the top right. It's white until you move the mouse cursor over it. It sits between the home and tools buttons.
