E-mail / web hosting service for med-size company?

Hello, wondering if anyone had any recommendations for an e-mail / web hosting company for a medium size company. Ideally we would like to have ~20 hosted exchange accounts, and another 80 pop3 accounts. We are using liquid web now and continue to have problems with our shared server getting blocked and black-listed. They have many accounts on a shared server and I'm guessing that other domains are spamming and the main IP is getting flagged.

Check out GeoVario, they are the host for CGN and are VERY 2A friendly!

Hurricane Electric. I'll say it upfront, I work there as a network engineer/systems administrator/programmer/etc. So what does that mean? I'm biased, mostly, but I also know the company and the industry pretty damn well.

You said you're looking for Exchange accounts, so I'm guessing you want hosting on a Windows server, yeah? Well, if you're not willing to lose the Exchange accounts (I would be haha) your option is a root dedicated server with Windows installed. Now, I haven't done system builds in a few years, but as I recall we ask that you provide the product key. The upside to doing a root dedicated server is that you get free reign of the server, however that is also the downside because you have to configure it all. We'll keep the hardware happy, give you power, and put you on the internet (IPv4 and IPv6).

If you're willing to part with Exchange, one of our webhosting accounts would likely fit the bill.

As for content you want to host, so long as its legal you're good to go. 2A, porn (great stories), 1A, doesn't matter.

If you have questions (not just about HE's services) you can message me on CGN or email me (jeffw (AT) he (DOT) net).

LiquidWeb is an awesome company. I would just invest in your infrastructure enough to move to a dedicated server, instead of the shared server. Get dedicated IPs, and go from there. No more issues with being lumped into the SBLs with cotenants. You will run into that issue everywhere -- no host can stop people from signing up, running a spam server for a day, and getting a whole pile of IPs blacklisted.

If you only want exchange, look around for dedicated exchange hosting providers. Spammers don't bother to sign up for exchange accounts, they just need sendmail/postfix to spam from script.

I've had great luck with Lunar Pages for all my sites. Great customer service

One of our latest clients went with the Microsoft hosted exchange solution, its $10/mo per user.

its been working well for them. Control is not as granular as running exchange yourself, but it works well for them. they are on the medium side, and have about 70-100 mailboxes. They also have additional services as well like live meeting and communicator and the like.

the best solution though is to just run your own. Our company rents out space in top tier data centers and manage all your gear for you and everything. also provide desktop support services if you need that too.

Get plugged into our tailored IT services to enable your organization.
