    [Ended 10,960 Sold!] B&N Nook Color Tablet/eReader for $199

    It's over.....

    ------------

I already have an iPad 3G but was checking these out for the wifey. She wants to upgrade her iPod Touch to a bigger screen and wants to read ebooks now. Also, in case you didn't know, these can easily become a full-pledged android tablet (search for autonooter).

Direct from Barnes & Noble eBay Store:
Use eBay coupon code* CBARNESDD at Checkout for $50 off (Free shipping too)

Didn't that expire last night? It was their daily deal yesterday.

Actually it's been $199 for a few days already. They'll probably stop the 'code' when they reach their quota. It's still active for now

        Insane!! 10,960 * $249 = $2,729,040 in sales

eBay takes roughly 10-12% in selling fees, so that means eBay made $327,484.80 (at 12%) off of this sell-a-thon. Talk about revenue generation!!

I got one for the my wife and it is now a full blown Android tablet. Thanks to the active Droid community (XDA, nookDev, etc). It's currently on Nookie Froyo ROM and it's very stable. Can't beat it for 200 bucks

I wanted to get one but I didn't have the extra $$$ to blow. I already got into my cushion funds for the first two weeks.

I ended up picking up a NIB one off craigslist for $220.

Took it one step at a time. Now I have a rooted Nook, with Android 2.2 (Froyo) installed in the internal memory and its overclocked to 1Ghz from 800Mhz. Its a pretty nice tablet now. Plays movies great. (once you figure out the correct handbrake settings to convert them) plays angry birds and android has emulators for all the old game systems. NES, SNES, gameboy, etc.

For my desired application of movie viewer for treadmill and kids in car its pretty much perfect and half the price of a galaxy tab.
