i just bought a PS3

Demon's Souls is probably the best PS3 exclusive I've played.

Metal Gear Solid is great but the later games get bogged down in cinematics and creative director infused masturbation.

In general, try to stay away from Unreal3 engine based PS3 ports. Epic has done a piss poor job with the PS3 code and its a real ***** to get right. If you want Borderlands, Bioshock, Gears, UT, etc then get it on the 360.


inFamous is a fun romp.

The God of War series is pretty solid all around. Can't miss there.

Killzone (series) and MAG are the strongest PS3 shooters and probably the best shooters on the platform. The CoD ports are lacking although getting better. Its just very hard to optimize for that much smaller memory. You end up hiding things in the spus or the video ram to make room. If the lead SKU is 360 then just stay away.

Resistance 1 and 2 were solid. 3 looks like its shaping up equally well. Insomniac is a good group and since they are a SoCal studio, its always nice to show some love.

I am only playing MAG and Killzone 3 right now. Ever since I got Killzone 3, my son hasn't touched the 360. Killzone 3 is pretty fun - both the campaign and multiplayer modes are pretty solid.

it was much worse early on, but now i think most devs have a decent handle on PS3 and are making it lead dev platform. 360 ports usually do better than ps3 ports(where 360 was the lead platform).

Its funny because sony talks about the 10 year life-cycle to help curb the problem of new platforms, but the console race doesn't really allow for anything more than 5-6(at least in teh past). it will be interesting to see when the next generation will actually start.

I enjoyed the SOCOM demo with the move controller(played it at E3), but hated the MAG patch when it came out(stuck with DS3). I don't have KZ3 yet, but am a bit skeptical about using move with it.......i have heard mixed reviews.

If you already have a bunch of digital media on hand, install a media server app on your home PC and you can stream it through the ps3 and watch it on TV.

get Killzone 3! It's a bit more sluggish than CoD but the sound and graphics are amazing.. it didn't take me long to get used to it, me being an avid CoD player.

Gran Turismo 5 is really great as well, but I'm not sure if you're into racing games.

i just bought a PS3, what are some PS3 exclusive games that i need to play? i got the PS3 mostly to watch hi def blue ray's with, and play games that are unavailable on the 360. i will still do most of my online multi player gaming on the 360 so please do not say get black ops or any cross platform game like that. if you want to add me on XBL or PSN my gamertag/ID is DedicatedPath on both systems.

Get Uncharted Drakes fortune, And Uncharted 2, Resistance(both), Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 3, God of War 3, most others are multiplatform these are all awesome games.

COD series sucks compared to the Battlefield series.
