    cool things to do with a kindle?

    just got a wifi version.. what can i really do with it other than read books?

    thought you can do wifi too (3g or just wifi)? if you have that version from what i thought. friends just read with it. they have other devices if they need something further (iphone, ipad, pc/laptop, etc.)

      Read books.. That's it as far as i know....

        It was designed for the most part to be a single-use tool. It does one thing and does it exceedingly well. I have yet to find a use for it other than reading. It certainly doesn't work for pounding nails or anything like that.

              Read books mostly although you can buy magazine and newspaper subscriptions. So far I'm about 1/2 way through my first Kindle book and think it's okay. I prefer audiobooks but sometimes it's nice to read and listen to the stereo.

                bash a smug prius driver over the head when they block the fast lane with there douschemobile then dump there body into a blendtech along with the now properly used kindle....

                  just found out you get free internet.. anywhere in the world you can get a connection. like 60 countries! too bad i rarely go overseas

                    Trade it in for a Nook Color and have a touch screen, 8gb, WiFi, android underneath tablet with a full browser.

                      why not just get a book and read it???

                          I have 112 books on my Nook; and am at less than 4% capacity. I haven't spent a dime on them either.
