Here's my setup, the only thing stock in that eMachines is the motherboard, RAM, and the drives that came with it. I upgraded the CPU to a Phenom II X2 555 BE, tossed a 1TB drive in there, a 850watt Antec PSU, and a GTX 460. That CRT monitor is going away once I get either an IPS monitor or a KVM switch.

The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms. -- Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87 (Pearce and Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)

Life is like having a map with precise directions and exact stops, you find out that your directions and stops change as you progress further down your original map.

Do your parents mind you messing up their basements like this?

That nasty keyboard posted above almost made me vomit. Ugh. LOL.

I really hate computers, but it's my job. Here is my office setup:

My game/computer room. I hardly go on the computer since I deal with them all day, I just jump on one of my laptops and browse the internet for a few minutes.

Ikea, then painted them red since they come white from Ikea. They were like $5 each I think.

I never understood why people had tons of xbox games or dvds or blu rays in a shelf in their room. It always screams out to me "HALP!!! I'm wasting money because I don't know how to burn my own movies or games or how to work a terabyte drive with blueray downloads!!". Which I am assuming you do know how to since your work set up. Why do you not go this route? Or do you but just not with gaming so not to risk getting your box banned?

You are correct, those are all xBox games. I have a total of 3 legit games, the other 70 are "backup copies" and I have two xBoxes - one modded and one legit. I bought DVD cases and printed out covers and whatnot, because I'm weird like that. I don't "backup" discs anymore since I have only played a few games for more than 5 minutes. I get bored of games (and things in general) pretty quick. Suprised I've been with my girl for the past 9/10 years.

                              I wouldn't know since I'm part Japanese.

                                Picture resize fail....

                                Here's my goodies:
Work Desk - Cleaner now than then. That was about a year ago, taken for a "What does your desk look like right now" thread on another board.

The "Media Stack" at home, also a year ago. There's service monitor where the laptops are, and an LCD monitor in place of the CRT. I have a printer on the floor in front of the stack, and 2 laptops in docking stations next to that.

I have a bunch of servers in another room that are waiting to go into a rack that's out in the garage. One is a DC/file server for my home LAN, another is a music server for my internet radio station (radionosferatu.com), another is an experimental box that I'm building up to be a SharePoint server, another is an FTP server, and the last one is a Tickets (open source Computer Aided Dispatch) server that I'm playing with. I have a couple more servers that I'm going to be playing around with in the next couple of months. I'll get pictures of everything once it's done.
