LG 47LE5400 t.v., LG LHB335 blu ray player & surround sound system, and wall mount for $1299 plus tax. My tech friends told me to wait, but this sounds pretty decent.

If you have a frys close by, and this is a LCD tv...
frys weekly sale: LG 47LD520 (47" 120Hz 1080p) for $650 in store.
LHB335+Surround Sound is $399 at Frys, but newegg has it for $330.
there are 5 review on the system http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882005052
I am not looking into wall mounts, so find one yourself
Frys also had a 50" 60Hz plasma for $500...kinda tempting to go bigger at a lower resolution. -
