Monitor troubles

All was well a few days ago, but it seems my monitor went from being colorful and normal to dull and really bright for some reason. A lot of the color seems to be drained and it looks like someone added some crappy exposure effect in photoshop I already tried adjusting the color and brightness settings on my monitor as well as doing a monitor factory reset anyone have any ideas?

Try checking your connections. If that doesn't work try swapping the cable (assuming you're using VGA 15-pin cable).

Fixed it. It was some hardware glitch which eventually caused my comp to shutdown to "prevent problems" Must of been rivatuner or something.
