"Now my god-daXn cat is homeless. I'm no longer alive. I'm dead."

Gotta' get Bulletflight from Knights Armament (at the AppStore).

The mid level version is fine, top level is ridiculous.

        Coriolis effect? Bah!

The fun part is having it log in for the local wind speed & weather...

        Bulletflight PDF Manual

The final option allows one to automatically download current weather. For automatic weather gathering, you generally must have an
iPhone which is GPS equipped, though under some conditions an iPod with network connectivity may work. When you select to
acquire weather, you must wait for it to return a value or time-out. This may take as long as 30 seconds. Because you location is
transmitted to a non-secure Internet service, you may wish to not use this option if your current location is confidential.

Nobody likes getting lost, and nobody likes paying too much for a reheated lunch at a franchise restaurant when there's a mouthwatering family joint hiding just around the corner. Wouldn't you know it, there's an app that solves those problems -- quite a few of the things, as it turns out. Following up on our earlier look at non-iPhone GPS apps, we took a look at the top iPhone navigation choices in the App Store and narrowed it down to the five below, then threw in a no charge option for kicks, covering a range of prices from free to upwards of $120 per year. As it turns out there's a very tangible difference between the discount and the "premium" options here, but is that extra really worth it? Read on to find out.

I use Motion X GPS, the full $2.99 version, for an iPhone Nav App. Or the iPhone Maps app works pretty well.

Get a Blue tooth stereo for your car with Mic...My Iphone hooks up to my car stereo and I use it as hands free. The stereo came with a mic that is tucked away from eye sight and when the phone rings, it picks up after two rings and I start talking. I travel a lot on the road so this is a must. My iphone also controls my car stereo and my iphone for tunes on my iphone. So I just bust out a playlist and play and my iphone activates my stereo. All without wires (the mic is wired but that is behind dash board).

Droid is a game too late.

Samsung Galaxy S then, it's a much better device. Google Latitude for GPS tracking.

Did you buy the new iPhone 4 ? If so, you're really gonna enjoy it!

Apps? I have the 3Gs and only 174 of the most crucial life support apps. Look for an app you can run in the background that will track your phone 24-hours. LOCK your phone after you end a call, and get in the habit of locking it always. in that way, your stolen phone will allow you to track it, and the thief will not be able to shut off the tracking app. What you do with him when you catch up with him is entirely up to you!

No personal offense, but this whole smartphone craze is a sucker deal... do you really want to be tracked 24/7 by GPS. i am not paranoid, just not wanting to be that easily found...? new phones are super cool, but my laptop is better, if you only have a phone, u still end up needing/using a laptop... WTF

My phone is for talking... and my computer is for all else, and my phone gets my puter free internet by free but restricted means when i'm out and about. I cant help but question the rediculous cost we all pay for "GADGETS"??

Sucker deal... Of the moment? Folks are getting off cheap!

Crazes could be about Hot Rods, Pony Cars, ATVs, Laptops, Lugers, Parabellums or iPhones...

Phones are a relatively inexpensive way for one to express their individuality.

What's interesting is how the phone supplants the car in modern urban society.

Cars still rule dagnabbit! This is America... (Go Giants?)

No offense to the OP, I'm on my FIFTH iPhone. Lost one to a moist cooler in HA, the rest stolen due to my naivete'.

You're already tracked by the cell towers, they constantly triangulate your position. In fact you don't even need to have the GPS enabled to use the towers for location services. Also, in order to be tracked you have to set up your phone to broadcast your position, although the police can already see this data with a court order.
