Xmarks going out of business (formerly foxmarks, then syncmarks)

There are alternatives at least synching your bookmarks between Firefox on different machines. I did use Xmarks to also sync between browsers. I've not found an alternative.

Anyone have one? That can sync not only between same platform (Firefox) on different machines, but cross browsers also like between Firefox and IE.

I doubt it will get shut down. I use them too and from the emails and blogs that I've been reading about them I think someone else will take over their service and continue on with it. Even if they were to charge $10 a year for this service like they mention it would be $10 I would spend in a hearbeat.

I was sad when I got the email from them at the end of last month, glad to see there's still some hope they can pull through and stay alive. I'd also be willing to pay $10/year in a heartbeat if that's what it took to keep them running.
