Weird thing happened with my Mobile Me account

I get two messages on my iMac while I was online. They were about 1-minute apart.

The message said something about not being able to access Mobile Me because of a wrong password.

Happened to me last week, same day and time frame.

I have the correct PW in my Mail account, I get my messages. I send/receive without any problems.

Could somebody be trying to access my email account?

    Kind of weird.

could be phising... or could be someone trying to change your password.

if it's working... i'd ignore those. check where the email is coming from too. if it's truly from the provider, then someone is trying to change your password.

Ya, probably a phishing scam. Forward the messages or emails to the abuse email at Apple.

Every once in a while you'll see authentication errors. It's not common but it happens. I've seen it with my Mobile Me account once in a while, as well as one of my various gmail or Google Apps accounts.

It's not phishing. It is an authentication error because two clients are checking the mail server at the same time. Do you have an iPhone? This happens frequently... the iPhone will be checking in while the computer tries to and gets a conflict of authentication.
