    Help! I know, I'm stupid

    Well, my laptop almost slipped off my lap a minute ago. I grabbed it and somehow hit a key or two as I did. Now the information bar is hidden. How do I get it to back showing all the time? Right about now, I wish I had a 6 year old here to help me.

          first state what OS you are running, and by information bar did you mean the start menu bar?
