I've gone several times to uninstall this program---goes part way thru
and sends error message that uninstall was not complete, what gives?

You can try manually uninstalling it. Delete all the files associated in the program files folder and then go into the registry and find all keys with trend micro and delete those. You can also run a registry cleaner.All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing
