Video Calling on htc evo and iphone 4

Can you video call an iphone 4 with a htc evo? I see they have two different video calling apps but I cant find the answer online if they can call each other. Anyone know?

There are more apps that work than just Qik

so basically it sounds like they need the same app so iphones can only talk to other iphones and evos to evos until something like skype comes out on all platforms

Apples FaceTime protocol will be available on other platforms in time. Skype is available on the iphone currently, though the carrier (AT&T) has restrictions on using Skype to make calls via the 3G network.

It is to my understanding that to do this on the iphone, both sides need to be connected to wifi.
