Mozilla Thunderbird 3.04 - Not Liking It

I upgraded to Mozilla Thunderbird v3.04 and while I am no expert in e-mail clients, it seems much harder to use. I can not put my finger on it, because I can not really recall what it was like before. It gave me fits on the password, which I finally just got fixed.

Anyone else have opinions on this. Thinking of going back to Outlook.

Didn't like the upgrade either. Not really into the whole "conversation" style of the search results. And my audio notification quit working unless I used a custom sound. i.e. it won't use the system's sound to notify me of the new mail.
