Stuff it digs up all center of screen instead of left of screen, but also seems dumbed-down, less links, can only go a few screens in.

Yeah I noticed that too. I hate it. Looks stupid. I just want the old simple pages like it used to have. Too much extra crap like Bing and i hate Bing.

They changed their logo a couple of days ago. I'll see if I can find a link to the story unless someone can beat me to it.

I'm using Firefox with Adblock; it looks very much the same to me.

Couple optional things like 'search tools' are new.

i don't mind it so much.

Personally - I think Bing is a much better search engine, I just use google purely out of habbit. the muscle memory i've built up in my fingers when typing google is just too hard to overcome.

Click on "Search Settings" in the top right and you can change it to display 100 results per page.
