The evil toolbar is back I still HATE IT

Readers; join me in protesting the evil toolbar cluttering up your screen and mine. It requires more scrolling down, slows down operations on this site, and is completely useless and entirely evil.

Write your mods, or your Congressman, or someone, let's get rid of this scourge if we can.

I understand it's for something called Chat on here. I personally resolve to Never Ever use Chat.

Good, how do I switch, or how about the sysops just switch it back because the toolbar SUCKS. I am tired of the slowness and the extra screen-downs I have to do.

I clicked on 1.0 and .... it's gone!!

I will still never, ever use Chat.

The only Chat worth doing is IRC it's all downhill from there. And I don't do IRC any more.

Nice, thanks for the heads up on the swap. I didn't mind the toolbar. It's just my OCD didn't like that my little welcome text with my messages at the top right was merging with the background.

Yep turns out all I had to do was click on the "1.0" at the top of the screen and here I am, classic CalGuns goodness. Modern or Luddite at the flip of a switch, I love it.
