Spyware blank toolbar on each CalGuns page (it's not spyware -admin)

I'm sure it's spyware/malware, loads on each page, obscures the lowest part of the page, does nothing else noticeable except of course, it's possibly a password-grabber, text-grabber, some sort of spy program.

Idiotic. I can't get rid of it and I don't like it one bit. I refuse to use Chat. I still suspect it's something some hacker/spy/Big Brother's Minion put on here. Let's hope the "big heads" find a way to get rid of it.

All I want to know about it is how to get rid of it. I can see it being there if I"m using the Chat feature, since I am as of now never going to use Chat, I'd like to know how to take it off of my screen, it makes everything just a bit more difficult.

Oh, that must explain why my browser is blocking a script from toksta.com.

I block all scripts unless I specifically trust them.

Try this to disable it. This is for Windows/Internet Explorer users. Seems to be working for me:
                  1. Click Start, then Run.
                  2. Type or copy/paste Inetcpl.cpl This will launch your Intenet options.
                  3. Click on "Security" tab, then click on "Restricted sites".
                  4. Click "Sites" button.
                  5. Type or copy/paste http://embed.toksta.com then click "add" button, then "close" button, then "OK" button. Done.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. That did it. The site is still slow to load, but it's not painfully slow anymore.

I can't find "settings" and I should not have to. Just take the dang thing off! Most people do not seem to like it any more than I do, and I hate it.

                      It's very, very, annoying.

Hmmm .... it seems to be gone now?

                        Hope it stays gone lol.

If someone here found a way to send it back to Pranksterville, then my thanks to them.

                          Calguns does not have malware.

It's a new feature, we've moved it to 1.1 Beta only since some didn't like it.

Reminds me why I like FireFox with the NoScript extension. It blocked Toksta.com right out of the barrel, and gave me an immediate option to temporarily allow it or permanently disable it.

I didn't think the mods here put malware on, I thought it was some malware from "outside the perimeter" that had gotten in.

                              I don't miss it!
