Pre-Paid Cell Phone

Best Pre Paid Phone plan out there. I want to get a pre paid cell phone that I can just add minutes when they get low?

Is that out there everything I have been seeing you have to pay minutes for a month and then they expire at the end of the month, then pay again for a new month...???

I like the tmobile prepaid. As a backup not for everyday use.

Yes indeed as a backup. Do the minutes expire after a month though?

no they last 90 days. If you fill up or refill with $100, it lasts a year. I think.

Net 10 is what I have and I get reception in places my expensive cell wont. Even on the top of mount whitney.

ive been using a trac-fone for years i do the year plan that costs 99 and gives one year of service and about 400 minutes (600 if you find a coupon code)

i dont use it much so thats enough for me

i bought a cdma phone tracfone seems to want to force you to use gsm phones cause their agreements with the cdma providers cost them more money

i like the lg 220 but to get them to sell you one you have to trick the system buy putting in a zip from somewheres out in the boonies i use 55011 then have it sent to california (they will warn you that it may not work in your area but they work fine here they just like to reserve the cdma phones for areas that need them)

Look into PagePlus Cellular. They have many good references. I haven't used them myself though.

I have the Tmobile to go phone. $100 is 1,000 minutes and is good for one year. Don't purchase in smaller denominations. It's not a good value that way. For my wife, it's good for about four months. The bad thing is you don't get a bill so you don't have a record of call usage. The good thing is, there aren't any extra fees and taxes that you have with a plan.

Best Prepaid phone is Straight Talk from Walmart. 30$ for 1000Min 1000txt and 30mb of data. Or 45$ for Unlimited. Straight Talk is on the Verizon network. Its a deal done by Verizon, Walmart, And Tracphone. Verizon provides the network service, Tracphone administers it, and Walmart sells it. I dumped my Verizon service and bought a straight talk phone. I save 40$ a month compared to my unlimited plan from Verizon. And I get the same service.

Page Plus has a similar plan and their also on Verizons network. I know five people on Page Plus and they all love it. You can also do basic prepaid on a sliding scale with no other access fees and minutes roll over when you buy more.

Verizon wireless has a good pre-paid program. (The minutes last a year regardless of how much you load onto the phone, reception is great, free nights and weekends, you pay only for the days you use it, and the entry level phones are super cheap... like $20 with $10 worth of minutes included).
