Server 2008 R2 Servercore - CDOSYS

I am working on migrating some old scripts that make use of CDOSYS to a servercore test install for Server 2008 R2. Unfortuantely I am having a dumb moment and can not determine if CDOSYS has been replaced in Servercore R2 (and what its replacement it) or what needs to be installed to install it.

If Outlook and Exchange (<2007) are NOT installed, you can download this and try. (You may have to register the cdosys.dll manually.)

Exchange 2007+ and Server 2008+ push using .NET instead of CDO/MAPI, so if you're actually trying to "upgrade" the scripts, I'd go that route instead.

Tried that but no go. Did some more research and it looks like cdosys is not supported on on R2 Servercore. I think that I will just rewrite them in VB.NET or C# and use non-CDO ways of doing the same tasks.
