URL not appearing on history

Got a wierd situation.

I tried to acces thefirearmblog.com, but I accidently typed firearmsblog.com

I went to check the history on my browser(IE6), but firearmsblog.com does not appear on the URL history. How is this possible? There was a cookie left from firearmsblog.com though.

do you save history though? browser can be configured how long you want to keep the history. even hitting escape before the full page renders, it shouldn't log a cookie in your system. that's odd. just clear the cookies and url and you're set unless you have history you want to keep (in which case create a temp foldr in your favorites and save them there b4 you clear history).

My IE6 history is saved for 20 days(default). I checked both cookies and history folder under Documents and settings. Cookie was originally there, but history wasn't.

I checked my proceses for anything suspicious and as far as I can tell there is no intrusion of any sort.
