Linking picture from desktop, can you do it.

Is there a way to link photos to a site or thread directly from your desktop or do you always have to use a photo hosting website.

On this forum and the like you can attach photos without a host. The display options would depend on the administrator's settings. To actually link a photo using [img] tags in this forum or a url you need to have it hosted somewhere.

How would I go about doing that. When you click on the add picture link it brings up a HTTP address.

you have to be in the advanced mode editor.

then go to the ATTACH FILES and hit the MANAGE ATTACHEMENTS button.

you essentially upload the pixs up the CGN server.

so now, the file is accessible via the web from anywhere...
