I pickup an Omnia running 6.1 for work. I hated it but put up with it for a year. The layout and features just sucked. I was not until I discovered that HUGE world of ROMs that I started to love my phone. I tried a few but settled on SPB 3.5. I picked this shell because my Omnia is technically my companies phone so I did not want to tweak it too much in case I left the company. I have every possible program I could want on my phone now. I have software for my Google Voice account which let me cancel my personal cell phone. I have ballistic cals, Garmin GPS, Google Maps, SMS-Chat and on and on I could go. I even picked up a 16gb micro SD card and moved all my music to it. When I drive I have my cell phone, GPS and MP3 player all in one package that mounts on my dash. The only thing I dislike about the phone is its lack of HD. The screen is nice but nothing like an HD screen.

You are correct on the omnia kinda sucking with the stock rom. I like SPB but it froze on my touch pro 1 alot when S2U2 would come on.

Cingular 2125! Dropped numerous times and I think the battery is bulging and ready to explode!

I've got WM 5.0 on it. I slapped in a 2Gb memory card to watch movies (.wmv) on the tiny itty bitty screen, listen to tinny sounds of .wma and I have Pocket Street, a mapping program on it. I can sync it to my Thinkpad, too. Plus, it's unlocked.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

Yup. I had nothing but problems with S2U2 even before I installed SPB. S2U2 locked up my phone a lot and even locked out my broadband. Verizon was unable to bring it back so I had to do a hard reset .
