This is driving me insane.
I've tried windows media player 11, tversity, an ps3 media server and none of them can find my ps3 and vice versa.
I'm running a wired network through a linksys BEFSR41 router. I have a computer in the garage on one connection, the ps3 on another, my main computer on another and a wireless access point for my laptop on another.
All the computers see each other, and when I look at my network with Mcaffe security software, it looks like the ps3 is there but it is not highlighted as if it were turned off. The ps3 access's the internet just fine. I've enabled everything I can on the ps3 to allow media sharing. I've spent days searching the internet for an answer to no avail.
Running windows xp also.
