OK, I like my older IMAC, it works and I havent shut it down in years(other than a restart for software upgrades), it stays running all the time and has not failed me but I dont really like the fact that when I get a pic or video in an email that I to download it to see it. Why doesnt it show me a thumbnail of the pic in the email? Why cant I just open it without it putting the contents on the desktop?

Are you using Apple's Mail program? On mine, if a pic or doc is small enough, it opens inside the mail window; otherwise, double-click and it opens, usually in Preview or Quicktime.OK, I like my older IMAC, it works and I havent shut it down in years(other than a restart for software upgrades), it stays running all the time and has not failed me but I dont really like the fact that when I get a pic or video in an email that I to download it to see it.
