    Ipod video problem

I have an older Ipod video and I am trying to get it to play videos. I figured out how to format the videos and get them on the Ipod but then they wont play. It will open the video and then just freeze-up.

It really isn't that important but I'm waiting for my classes to start at Fort Gordon in Georgia and I am bored out of my mind and this has been occupying my mind for a little while. So, does anyone know what is wrong? The videos play fine on Itunes on my computer, just not on my Ipod.

Wrong format possibly, try a new type like avi, mp4 etc. Ipod can play different formats try a new one. If its not that, try a new program that re-encodes it to a new format... one of the best programs and its free is this one..Its called super.

have you tried rebooting your ipod?

Hold the menu and round center button down until the device shuts off.

In all honesty I waffle between finding you disgusting and pitying you that your life is so void of anything substantial that you measure yourself by 'conquests' and who you know that can get you in where.

Yeah, every time I try to play a video it freezes up and I have to reboot it. Man, there is like a brawl going on in barracks right now. I kind of want to join in but I have a PT test in the morning.
