An RTC and PCIe 2.0 are nice additions. SSD experience with the VL805 wasn't great especially if you plug in another device.Comment

The Pi 4 has been great as an Internet Web server. Also works very well as a DNS and email server. I have internal and external DNS on Pi 4's, and one of my active-active-failover DHCP servers is running on a Pi 3. Pis rock as small servers.
The Pi 4 was the first Pi that was actually reasonably useable as a daily driver desktop, with an overclock to 1.8 GHz, for what most people use a computer for. Power users, it wasn't there yet.
The Pi 5 should really do the trick, though, with its increased power. It does use more power, though, as a trade-off. But it should easily mount to the back of any LCD screen, thus making a very nice compact system. Again, power users like video editors or those doing heavy source-code compilations will need an AMD Ryzen or Intel Core. But most people aren't power users, so it would serve them well."San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"

To be a true Liberal, you must be 100% pro-Second Amendment. Anything less is inconsistent with liberalism.Comment
