    email tracking tools

I'm wondering is it possible to turn off the email tracking on a PC from CRM software?

I used Gmail and Yahoo.... Open the site in a browser...

Is there software that allows you to block anything being sent back to the sender?

I know there are a bunch of CRM packages that allow spammers and businesses to know how many people opened emails....

if there a tool to block this?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Not sure about Yahoo or Google, but Outlook 365 has mail options to block sending read receipts and also not to automatically load images (yes they track you through image loading too).
There is no week nor day nor hour, when tyranny may not enter upon this country, if the people lose their supreme confidence in themselves -- and lose their roughness and spirit of defiance -- Tyranny may always enter -- there is no charm, no bar against it -- the only bar against it is a large resolute breed of men.

Main way is to set your client to not load external images. That's generally how a tracking pixel works.

Some clients used to allow you to treat every email as plaintext and not html, but that function has been lost in recent years.

Thunderbird also has these content blocking features and is open source for those that care.
